The track is different between v4.5 and v5. Some turnouts have been moved and super elevation has been added in some areas. Most scenarios from 4.5 will not run.
If I remember correctly, some markers have also changed.

Now there is only two scenarios from my 2013 v.4.5 scenario set that aren't working. EB coal drag from Alderson (reg. Big Boy) And Ronceverte switching (req. SW1200). All the others now run ok although they're missing some scenery assets but that doesn't seem to affect operation. I do have the Big Boy downloaded from steam but that doesn't appear to be the one this particular scenario requires. RW Tools indicates I need one from IHH:

"IHH\Big Boy\railvehicles\steam\bigboy\default\engine\bb_rearframes_engine_blueprint.bin" plus a few others.

I am interested in any newer COA scenarios. DId they fix the water tower at Ronceverte? There's two switches right there that don't work either. Doesn't look like anybody's really been posting for a couple of years but I'll read through what is posted. But why the abandonment? Tori did fix for me some of the track leading up to the lumber camp after I reported the Shay's wouldn't negotiate those switchbacks.

Were these scenarios with your 5.0 when you got it? I have 5.0 but don't have most of the stuff you have discussed. The Big Boy was originally from IHH and then he sold it to RSC so that's probably why it's calling it out that way.

No I had those all saved with 4.5. Then downloaded and installed v.5 and just merged my old railworks folder with the new one in TS2018.

Other scenario that doesn't work still is "Empties WB from Alleghany (CSX)".

Kind of burned out from this right now. Might eventually get them all to run. Meanwhile think Ill try to add any missing scenery items from the Bauer Logging scenario.

Anyone tried V5 on TS2020 ?

I was on Cardinal 51 several years ago and had this route from Toripony running on TS2017. Was great to be in the cab on a route I actually experienced myself.

I installed it in 2016 but it still looks good 4 versions later.

Haven't run this route in years. Torypony never came back to finish it, did she?

We have the Alleghany 2-6-6-6 now, anybody have screenshots with it hauling a long string of those coal hoppers?

Nice!

Time to dust that route off and download that Alleghany.

I remember to have reworked some of the route, installing proper C&O signals from the RWA library I believe.
