That's an awfully backhanded comment if I've ever seen one. These guys are working hard on many things at once I'm sure.

Not if.

WHEN!

Sorry, but freeware will be not be available for this unit. NS is very proud of their trademark, and as such, has a very "robust" licensing fee.

Your high school English teachers must have a riot with you and your grades. Define 'Argument' please. What I said was a comment, I was not arguing until now.

Ok, let's all chill, loosen our sphincters, and enjoy a few of Michael Calvin's repaints!

We still do not have a definitive date, as we have learned from past experience that giving the masses a firm release date can be the Kiss-of-Death. But here is what is left to do:

- finish up the L&N cabs (next few days).
- Bug Hunt mode. Looking for and working out everything that is causing or might cause issues.
- Finish sound mixing. This is for the most part done, but there are some horns that are unique to certain units, and scanner sounds, that still have to be done.
- Beta Testing. We want it to be rigorous. In the past, we have released something and gotten back a "yeah it looks great and it runs good". We are looking for a lot more than that this time around. Not to insult, but please do not ask to Beta Test. We have already eyeballed a few folks who are technically savvy in the inner workings of Railworks and who are, for lack of better words, rivet counters.
- Distribution. Right now, the plan is to distribute from the VRC website, which still has to be set up but would take a few hours or a day to do. Unless a certain company decided to distribute it for us...

One good thing though is the setback that I thought TS2014 would deal us has not materialized. As far as I can tell, it hasn't exposed any fatal flaws in the locomotive or freight cars, and Dan is very happy with the updates to the Blueprint Editor that will make things go a bit more quickly on his end. Now if we could just get an automated paint booth!
