(WIP) **GE AC4400CW** In Development from Searchlight Simulations!

Unread postby 5292nate » Sun May 26, 2013 11:43 am

Hey guys! Just wanted to formally announce our first WIP, the long needed for RW, AC4400CW! It will (hopefully) be coming an all the class 1 liveries, and each model will be tailor made for each individual railroad! There will be variants with and without steerable-type trucks, based on what the real railroads use! So! Get excited for this, and foam over the first of many WIP shots! **BTW** ALL THE CREDIT FOR THE MODELING WORK GOES TO KEVIN! I have nothing to do with the modeling! Tell us what you think! !*salute*!

Looks great but don't get your hopes up for a CSX license. Suggest you produce an up-to-date model in Canadian Pacific. Heard that a major CP route is in development.

Thanks! But don't worry about the CSX thing. We're working with RSC on a license deal! !!*ok*!!

No, Harry is serious. CSX is very pissy with their Lisencing. Same thing with KCS.

So when its released will it be in one big pack with a bunch of railroads? (CP BNSF CSX etc..) Or will you do it seperatly for each railway but different liverys for each railway like BNSF-H1,2,3 or CP-Golden Beaver, Dual Flags? (with each railroads variations of equipment and lights etc...)

Actually I talked to the lady from CSX license. She seems very nice, we both talked about getting the license and I almost did!

It will be released seperatly for each rr but in a bundle for sure. We plan on releasing at least three roadnumbers for each railroad, which will feature different variations of equipment to choose of, such as high and low ditchlights, steerable and HI-ad trucks and a few more options. Each of these engines will have a specifically adjusted shape, which will match with the real roadnumber it displays.

lol wow guys. You don't need their Boxcar logo when some guy made a font matching CSX's bold font. It's not the same, but its only off by 0.00000001 somethings so they can't get in trouble. !**duh*!!

You don't get it do you. You can get in trouble, You can't use their name on any payware product without an agreement, whether or not the font is correct.

This is an exciting development for RW. From the look of things, you have the wink of approval from the RW honcho's
I'll be watching for up-dates and progress reports.
No hurry, get it right. And thanks !!*ok*!!
