3DTrains - Coming Soon to ScaleRail

Unread postby Bananarama » Wed Mar 20, 2013 8:52 pm

Based on prototype drawings, photos and field measurements, our first enhancement to ScaleRail consisting of US&S H2 Searchlight signals should be available soon for customers of our ScaleRail packs. The initial files will be beta, with scripts that follow SP practice, and beta feedback will help determine the varying rule configurations needed for the end user. Color-light, both older and modern types, will eventually be wrapped into the final ScaleRail packages.

Both. However, the initial uploaded will be available to payware customers as a beta, and then once the basic configurations are set, the final will be made available to both payware and freeware versions of ScaleRail. I want to ensure that the package is sound before scattering the file to the wind, as I have been known to goof on spelling and little details. :D
Cheers!

Sorry to interrupt this "train" of thought, but I wish that 3D Trains would turn its attention to improving traffic movement along "Scale Roads": at present, vehicles travel in clumps and crowd each others' bumpers (and more) at RR crossings, but the most irritating misbehavior is that ribbons of traffic cannot be attached to each other so that vehicles do not abruptly appear and vanish. How about it, folks?

Didn't some routebuilder already figure that out? I saw someone get it to work with tons of features too.
