Hey guys,

dash 8 is back in the shop for a new paint job courtesy of Mike Durdan. new baked templates will allow users to repaint it now. there will be only 1 unit released, that will have finally have a cab in it from external view. The unit exeriro will be a baked grey shell, Mike will present me with his work and I'll rebake them if they need it and pass it back to him for him to release on here. I still need to put some decals on the panels and doors. but that will be independent of mikes work.

there will be NS, CONRAIL unpatched, UP, CSX, CNW, and whatever mike feels like doing. i'll have the final complete update done by next week. heres whats in store:

Can I send you proper horns per each railroad's specifications? I'll convert them for you. I have K5s on L manifolds, K5s on H manifolds, basically every horn you can think of.
*another note, the exhaust silencer or whatever it is inside the exhaust stack should be about 4 inches short of the perimeter of the stack itself. like here:

Looking sharp Ian! Are you going to fix the air tick sounds? You can hear when the unit is a mile or more away!

Ian's SD60 is every bit as nice as RSC's stuff. I'm sure this new update will be of the same quality.

I'm not sure how hard it is to do, but here is one more thing you may want to take into consideration before you release the updated model. As it seems to me, NS has many C40-8's with the ditchlights above the front deck. Seems that most of the former CR units, have them below the deck. Image
