Night Running

Unread postby ricksan » Wed Sep 28, 2011 8:01 pm

I was wondering why it's always so dark outside the cab at night.

Image

Then I thought, why not just turn on the headlights?

Image

That's better. But other than the display screens, it's also too dark inside the cab. Hey, buddy, turn on the cab lights.

Image

That's better, but maybe not ideal for night running. How about only the task lights.

Ah, just right now!

Now ready for public Beta. Go to the web site and click where it says "TS2012 Updates Are Coming!" then scroll down to the September 29 Progress Report. Use the Bug Hotline, referenced on the same page just before Progress reports, to report problems.

Ran the first 20 minutes of the scenario with the updated loco. Everything seems good with the locomotive, lights work as advertised. Looks great! !*brav*!

Are you talking about new and updated default RSC SD40-2? Yes, you can change number now, but (internal) gauges' lights don't work yet! Not good at night, I use to drive reading gauges.... *!sad!*

BNSF's reskings with cab lights, and headlights would be welcome!

BTW the headlights are pointing too much low and close to the loco, but it's a good starting, better then no lights !**duh*!! ....

Kinda confused. I think you might have posted in the wrong thread? This is about the beta upgrade of the P42 by G-TraX.

Very confused, yep! !**duh*!! I didn't realised was "exclusively" about P42, I thought was about general night running... sorry. But.. once I have that add-on, I'm looking forward the upcoming (beta) update... !!*ok*!!
