German Railroads will release the German ICE 1 (InterCityExpress) for Railworks tomorrow June 29th on their onlineshop: http://shop.german-railroads.eu/product_info.php?products_id=305&osCsid=brsm17rf1pjshdt8kj87pmp2p58uadi8 (No Steam-Releasedate, yet.)

Is there a pre-determined route this will be running on? Hopefully included with the train? Looks really nice. (then again, I like that new Amtrak locomotive)

It comes with 5 scenarios for the Hagen-Siegen route.
