Hey guys,

I re-did my old sd60 spartan unit to get it up to date. This unit is completely re-engineered and is looking real good. Good news is this will be free to existing users of the spartan cab pack. there will be a separate upgrade pack that has the new sd60M and sd60I units in norfolk southern paint. I am also doing a union pacific pack with sd60s and sd60M phase II. There will be all sorts of variations to the body. There will be new rolling stock for each pack as well. I'll roll out pics as things develop more. the spartan is ready for the paint shop now actually.

There will be a new locomotive in the future too stay tuned for that.

I don't have 60 sounds yet, so no.

The "E" version might make its way on the plate. Each pack will have 3 versions though. So there would be the standard cab, the M/I cab and the Triclops. NS bought a bunch of BN triclops units and repainted to NS so they caught my eye and thought it would be nice to include those.

I have audio from Walter for these. I will be tweaking the audio that was supplied to me. more on that soon.

Ian, a while ago you had plans for revamping the CN SD60F.

DTM is making these along with thelocoshop and being that DTG is also with this project I'm guessing it will be released through steam.

The only one I heard a whisper of was the E unit and that is fine. I would still do my own E unit with my own functions as it serves my tastes and my audience's tastes as well of course.

I still love to run the old sd60s. But im glad that it's revamp time.

Is the SD60E coming with the Spartan pack upgrade? I hope it does
