Thanks Papa, I got the particle working easily. now I don't have to alias to anything outside my folder structure. will be including this in the patch I will release tonite. the scenarios wont be done for another couple of days. it just takes a while to create them and test them.

dern Ian. You really did it with these locomotives. They're fantastic! I honestly couldn't find anything wrong aside from stuff you said you'll be fixing!

Thanks!

Still a minor issue and thats the ammeter, which is it doesnt reach 1500amps for some reason. Any updates I have for this and other locos in the past will be silent updates that come with any of the free scenario packs I give out. Although I do plan on a few really cheap payware scenario packs in the future, for now most will be free unless otherwise said.

Now Might as well let you all know the projects on which I intend to close the year out with:

1. Finish the BNSF seattle sub(to be released in October 2013).
-Will hopefully have rolling stock such as a 5 bay grain car(maybe), sd60M phase 1(definetly), and BNSF dash8BW(definetly)
-comes with a bunch of simple scenarios
2. Re-master the dash8CW (a free update for those who bought the old pack) in NS livery (released in september 2013)
2a. a bunch of free silent updates for the sd60, dash8, and sd60F locos.
3. Create A few really in depth scenario packs for My routes

4. Start on a new locomotive: F59PHI with bombardier coaches(sounder livery) for SEATTLE SUB. To be released early winter.

GAH, can't figure out what the heck is wrong with the Ampmeter its just not right.

A lot of ammeters are way off the prototype.

Where do the amps get calculated from off the blueprints?

Also, in dynamic braking, resistor grid current should show in the HUD's.

Finally, I've out found that units do rev up a little in dynamic braking. Notch 1 to provide excitation for the traction motors to act as generators.
Up to notch 4 so to supply traction motor cooling air on some models.
More work to be done on the engine simulation blueprints and scripts.

under power supply and amps in the engine sim blueprint. you type in the max current for the loco. then in the engine blueprint under ammeter you have a min and max value for current and thats where you type in your values. the game does the rest as long as your animation starts at -xxxx and ends at +xxxx where x is amps

Hello Ian,

congratulations to your outstanding work!

This loco is what i missed...;)

Only 1 thing i have to say, is it possible to include some rumble sounds when loco drives over junctions or rail clamps...?

In any other RSC pack its included. Couldn't hear it in your loco...everything quiet when i drive over junctions.

Or may i miss something...?

Anyway...thanks again and cheers...!
