Congrats on the CSX license. Looking forward to the classic Chessie scheme on that 40!

I just saw the screenshots of paint schemes, and they look great! I really did not know this much progress has been made. I just bookmarked the VRC site,as there are progress updates on a regular basis.

Will versions of these CSX strobes be made? (Not paint, just the various positions of the strobe light)

This is gonna seem nit-picky but SF never had GP40-2's. Unless it's a GP39-2.

I'm pretty sure Papa intended this to be an announcement. Not a "custom orders placed here" !!bang!! Also. That's not a SD38 in the photo. No relation as far as I know.

Let me leave you with this. I have over 80 individual parts now for super-detailing. Most of your questions can be answered by looking at the super-detailing releases MadeMike and I have posted to the RWA library over the last year and a half. !!det!!

And yes, there would be no point to adding a beacon without making it work.

Please, no more requests. We have a lot of ground to cover before our first release. Think of this this way, when has anyone left Baskin Robbins empty handed simply because they didn't have their favor flavor of triple-chocolate-strawberry-mint-caramel-toffee-crunch?

"Don't mean to nitpick."

Then don't.

AT&SF had ONE GP40, and she burned up in a fire. Same carbody, same length, no sight glass, more primitive electronics. They also had several GP40X locos.

What amazes me is that someone takes the time to do Santa Fe' s "Bumblebee" scheme, which to date I have not seen very many of and already there are complaints.

There is a strobe. And it looks mahvelous! I have seen the light! I think that most of the photos on the VRC site are base model, and they are being customized per road.

The strobes on 9119 are on platforms with radio antennas for remote control operation. Look at Papa and I's Y588 UP GP15, it has the full radio control features, with near identical platforms and strobes. I'm going silly trying to get the BNSF suite ready for license submission. Follow us along on the blog to see how we are doing.

What he said... each variation is unique and custom made.
