The textures are "mashed" because of the new Blueprint Editor. I've exported textures using a backup of my old copy without issue. The newer one, however, compresses the textures differently, and those with alpha channels appear to be worse than others. I still can't use the current Asset Editor, as it won't work under Win-XP-32. *!rolleyes!*
Cheers!

The newest RSC engines that came with Sherman Hill or have been "updated" since TS2013, all have their lua scripts encrypted, textures mashed etc.
I don't buy RSC's explanation "this is the way the author works" but rather consider it RSC policy to keep things tight and under control of their EULA.
Will be interesting to see how this SD45 turns out in this respect.

Perhaps since we can consider Lord Mannu as one of our guys, he is more considerate concering ease of repainting?

Lord Mannu: if you aren't under a no disclosure policy, would you care to elaborate your position?

Well, I must say than RSC never ask me to work on a particular way or encrypted the LUA scripts etc. I still working as always. I really want than my engines be repainted, I think that adds more variety. I hope you find the engine easy to repaint. I tried to keep some order avoiding to mix up too much all the parts.

!!*ok*!! Praise the Lord Mannu!! !!*ok*!! !!*ok*!!

I think that is very forthcoming and condiderate of you. We'll have to wait and see what RSC actually does once you hand over your work, and we'll find out as soon as the SD45 will be delivered through Steam to our computers.

Well I just watched the posted video, and I am very impressed. The fold back mirrors are a new one for any train simulator model,I think. Like the strobe light, also. As for me,I will be waiting for the high short hood version. This looks like another great addition to Railworks!

The brake sounds? I believe those were his from the DDA40X. I remember hearing those before on there. Otherwise I made the proxyxmls almost exactly like yours using my audio.

Sorry for the poor FPS. My PC doesn't like to record TS2013. That's soon to change with an additional graphics card.

Those air sounds I made with some compressed air. They are identical. I don't care, I think it's cool that they are included.

Ahh okay. Im not sure where Mannu got the brake sounds, the random air spit came from one of my MSTS sets though just to just be clear I didn't take your work though. :) I must thank you for getting me started into railworks to begin with. :)

Not to be a salesman here, but the SD45 is well worth the 20 bucks. Picked it up last night and love it. Details are great, function excellent and sounds are great. The first RSC ( Lord Mannu for credit) that the horn sound is correct and sound/duration timing perfect.
