Here's the progress thus far: track is 100% complete, extending from CP-SK to Amsterdam. I've also included a small portion of the old D&H line from Voorheesville to Delanson for both operation interest and to satisfy my own curiosity about CP and SMS. SMS, serving both NY and NJ, operates several miles of track between the Northland Industrial complex (old Guilderland Center) in Guilderland to Delanson, where it exchanges cars with CP. The CP extends to Rotterdam where it passes under the Selkirk and on to the city of Schenectady. From there the line ends - as mentioned, the purpose was mainly for operational interest.
I've also included a few shots of some experiments in ground texturing. So far, so good - I'm especially pleased with the asphalt textures used to blend with ScaleRoad. All that's needed now is some good rock textures for around the Watervliet dam and some miscellaneous goodies...

Progress on Selkirk yard continues with a few new structures, including the beginnings of the Selkirk engine shop complex and CSX Albany Div HQ. I'm a bit worn-out from working on the fuel shed, so the engine shop might not have the same level of detail as that of the former. I'll likely add the pits. railings and interior lights, but not the tiny bits. The fuel shed is designed to be used in scenarios - the engine shop isn't. Also seen are some early tinkerings with utility line lofts - so please mind the comments on poles covering the track. ;)

There's a medium-sized auto facility at Selkirk, so work began last week on getting it started. Base textures are down, and the Auto Terminal building and related pieces are coming together which should make for an interesting scene when operating in the yard. I still need to add yard lighting, auto carriers, and of course fill the area with new cars!

...to be continued...
