Not really. This includes a few additional fixes. I was able to reproduce the no sound, no throttle up and no headlight flare situations that many reported and I managed to fix them to the point were they even work for me if done right and followed by the manual.

OK I got it. I have a question for you, I was looking at the inputmapper and the engine bins and the few I looked at are looking for a SD40-2_Searchlight.bin but the inputmapper folder has a SD40-2_S.bin. Is this ok or did I find something?

SD40-2_S is the mapper name, SD40-2_Searchlight is just the file name, so all good.

I purchased the sound pack, it is all great. But I have a problem, it will not move, It will let me put it up notch 8, and the RPM's will go up, but the loco is not moving. It stays at 0.0 MPH even in notch 8. I downloaded the update, but it still does it.
Thanks for everyone who can help! Great sound pack, but it that small problem I have.
Thanks! !*salute*!

The Kuju SD40-2, I didn't run a repaint. The normal ones you find in game. :)

It´s been two months since this enhancement package was released and discussed in this thread.
I have purchased the package only yesterday. The sounds and flares are great (as always, in the 4 previous packages), enhancing these old DLCs by miles. If they just had a better cab and controls.
I have read much of the manual. Lots of similar procedures to the previous SS packages.

However I see the headlight HUD button seems to have been disabled. I guess this is related to the input mapper new controls for H (front and rear lights).
May you confirm this is not an issue (not having the button operative) I experience and it is just intentional by designers?

Good work! !*cheers*!

Correct, the headlight on HUD is disabled deliberately due to the new prototypical operation of the headlight switches as opposite switches rather than the Kids R Us operation of Off - Forward - Rear.

There may be more.
Last night I tried to make a conversion of the CN SD40-2 and was unable (as I have done in the past with several repaints of the four types enhanced by MLWaudio).
The results were weird: input mapper not working, particles with estrange colors and , sounds not working, etc..

My guess here is that the scripting is blocking this time any conversion of repaints tried by users.

My question is:
Has anybody been successful enhancing any SD40-2 repaint?

You will need to copy one of the enhanced bin files and change references to the SD40-2 or whatever you're trying to enhance. It has many more child objects and controls in the blueprint than what standard ones have.
