hey guys,

Nearly got this pack complete. There are definitely 2 units, a ATSF and SSW. possibly a third if I have time. Just finished the cab baking and its all set to go. one thing that needs fixing on it is braking. for some reason the braking doesn't work at all. So maybe someone can shed some light on that? in the mean time i'll tie some loose ends and add a few more things to the cab and make sure everything is good to go, also throw in a fair amount of scenarios and have it released to your rails by this Friday. scenarios will range from using the seattle , soo line, and Marias pass routes.

Ian

UPDATE: braking fixed and working. models are done and now im in the process of writing scenarios tomorrow and friday.

Will definitely be released Friday!

heres a youtube video of the cab

Great model! Wish I had an SD or GP60 to record for you. BNSF seems to have reverted to unfriendly to me this year.

Great model, but imho I do believe having the interior cab light turn on separate from the headlight would be better, especially for driving at night.

Looking forward to the new GP60. I recently bought all your models and the GP60 shows it was a very early effort. The SD50 could also use a touchup to bring it to the same level as your GP60mkII.

The GP60 upgrade will be free for extisting customers?

I believe Doc's Loco Lighting Enhancement packs have the cab light hooked to the L key. You can check that code. Of course a moving switch was impossible in the old Kuju models as was a visible light source, i.e. a lamp that lights up. I believe there are cab lights mounted over the engineer and conductor seats.

Umm this pack is separate this time. Reason being is I completely redid EVERYTHING. I spent ALOT of time on it so I hope you all understand. Its well worth the small price I swear. Its got a new horn, and when Walter passes on the new 710 sounds it will be mint. IN the meantime it will use the 710G sounds from woody which are still an amazing sound set anyway. I updated the dash8 for free and not to mention the other packs periodically for free since RW2 to keep them close to up to date, So you guys do get benefits with your purchases. and I plan on re-doing the dash8w as a free update. But I have 10 scenarios I'm writing for you all as a token of my appreciation.

Thanks!

Ian

OK, cab light can be turned on using shift+C or when in cab use the cab light switch on the control stand! The cab light no longer activates when headlights go on. gauge lights are separate.
I will include this in the PDF manual. this loco will be quick drive ready as well.

Well slight bad news I may have to scrap the quick drive mode. my locos wont work with it. the game crashes. however if I swap it with a Sherman hill or other loco the game works fine. Ive been at it for an hour now and it wont work. so I give up on it unless someone can shed some light as to why. the quick mode shows my locos with their respective pics and info. I used aconsist blueprint and no go.
