Old Prof wrote:Sorry to interrupt this "train" of thought, but I wish that 3D Trains would turn its attention to improving traffic movement along "Scale Roads": at present, vehicles travel in clumps and crowd each others' bumpers (and more) at RR crossings, but the most irritating misbehavior is that ribbons of traffic cannot be attached to each other so that vehicles do not abruptly appear and vanish. How about it, folks?

The ribbons seemed like a good idea at the time (RS), but I didn't want to double/triple the amount of blueprints needed for X-ROAD (no traffic), X-ROAD (light traffic), etc. I think I know a way around the issue of not being able to select/connect to issues, but it will take much tinkering. IIRC, there's a Kuju material that allows for editor-only viewing, which would allow me to create a ribbon that extends well above the visible surface of the road its being placed upon. Right now, I'm up to my goose-neck in getting dynamic numbering to work properly on the Searchlights.
Cheers!

Looks sweet! now remember back in the day before radio communication was portable (handheld radios is what I mean) there would be a telephone box near the switch to ask dispatch or whomever if its ok to align the switch and all, you get where im getting at with this.

There's one thing I don't understand. I use other freeware scalerail and the C1's for the switches makes them dark? Why is that?

Alot! I was working on my Route NARW and few people have asked me wny not use Scalerail, and I though how am I gonna do that? Thanks to Buzz he told me use the RW Tools. I followed the instruction and when I checked out the yard. Every single switches was darker. I may have used the Concrete main Line. Why I tried others they end up the same way. So I'm using the wood.

The switches in ScaleRail, both for wood and concrete types, use wood ties. The concrete ties aren't as common as those of wood. I may add concrete in the future, however.

FWIW, this is about the signals, not the track. If you have an issue with the package start another post or email me.
Cheers!

Alright, least when you mention I was gonna pop the question. I will use the wood from now on. Thank you. Can't wait to use this switch. Looks great btw. !!*ok*!!

The only text on the digital detector boards was (I think )mile post or maybe location ....Umm, have you seen them ?
I don't have the needed info ... was asking because Marc Nelson may have what I don't .... i.e. good dimensions ,rather than the camera projection method and guesstimates I had to use :-)

And I'm willing to pay for the models .. it's easier ;-)
