How much of the signals are in place (crossings, wayside signals) and how much completion are the models?

I also said Crossings too. I like the searchlights but is that the only brand they have on the line? I thought they had Vaders on some parts of the line?

I know this will be good; since you mentioned the Open Rails Sherman Hill how is it different from the TS2013/2016 version in terms of accuracy?

I think he mentioned that it is modeled after the 2006-2008 period when it was still all searchlights.

For the period, hooded signals exist only at Cameron and at Kern Jct (the latter on on the BNSF). I'm just finishing them up, so they should be in the next update.

About the same. I laid the initial track for Sherman and sold the project to RSC a couple of years back. The major difference is the addition of super elevated curves and the removal of part of BNSF's Front Range Sub.

Aww.

And what about the crossings on the Tehachapi? Are they still WIP?

Yes, Safetran crossing models are complete, but not yet textured or exported to the game.
Cheers!

Just bought it. Received the key, links and password in less than 5 minutes.
Downloading now ...

It says ' Railworks not found' and won't install.

I have moved my Railworks elsewhere, so please add an option to the installer to manually select the correct folder instead of solely relying on the registry setting.

The MSTS Cheyenne has such an option, since I only have Open Rails and hence MSTS isn't present on that computer.

Edited: I used the tool from http://www.justtrains.net/support/railworks/dafd908 to create the needed registry entries by creating a dummy Railworks.exe and having the tool add that to the registry, and selected my proper Railworks USA folder from the installer later.

Any interest? You betcha there is! I have always bought your products and they are always first class. Been following your work ever since you and I signed up at the same time over at trainsim.com, November 1999.... Man, that`s along time ago !!jabber!!

Order has been placed and I`m looking forward to taking a trip down memory lane.

Keep up the good work Marc! Nice to see you are still with us and developing for TS2015. !*cheers*!

How finished is the track at this stage? ScaleRail was put to good use of course. Are there subroadbed textures available to put under the tracks to blend the ballast into the desert ground texture?

My player train of 3 ES44 units, 15 G-Trax articulated stack cars and 1 ES44 pushing keeps derailing, even though I maintain a steady 23 MpH going downhill from Tehachapi by dynamic brake modulation alone.
There are so many curves, reverse curves, that there are some rough joints left.
The cars toppled over between Marcel and Walong when there was a particularly heavy jolt. I suspect the artilated stacks are more prone to derailments due to uneven track than normal cars, or there still might be some bugs left?
Here is the broken rail:

Even though the scenery is still very sparse, I noticed some nice touches. Like the notches cut into the tunnel portals to clear double stacked containers, the different styles of number plates on the signals.

The mile posts still are untextured, RW_Tools reported no textures missing apart from a flower pot.

Using another pre-made consist, I finally made it to The Loop. The train was too long for the famous head and tail shot at the tunnel.
