ScaleRail for Pacific Surfliner?

Unread postby Bananarama » Wed Nov 06, 2013 6:57 am

I posted wip hint screens in a couple of places, but hardly got noticed, so I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in a ScaleRail version of the Pacific Surfliner route?

Items include new ScaleRail models and textures that match the current prototype and are accurately placed according to the latest Google Earth imagery. Some terrain tweaks around Torrey Pines was needed in order to replace a couple of missing bridges along Peñasquitos Canyon. Although the track has been upgraded and the package is ready, I plan to add a few items to the route in the near future, especially the missing "Big A" sign in Anaheim:

Not too many other things missing - RSC's Pacific Surfliner is an outstanding piece of work in its own right. I just can't help tinkering with things. :D

Note that unlike the ScaleRail Cajon upgrade, this one will be a payware offering.

I, for one, would cetainly go for that, my route building skills being zero at this time.

Do you also plan to replace crossings and signals? If it were freeware I guess it'd be cool to replace some with RCAP exSMM stuff.

No signal work I'm afraid. I'm trying to keep as much of the route intact as possible with only minor tweaks. A few Easter eggs to keep you entertained though. :D

A few texture tweaks are necessary, but the model is done. :D
