Containers for Coatbridge Scenario Set RS2012 version 1.2
The Scenarios:
=============
These scenarios involve movements into and out of Mossad Yard, with the aim of delivering containers to
Coatbrige Yard, a container facility operated today by Freighliners and LNG tank wagons from Mossad Yard
to 3 yards closer to Glasgow city.
Because all 3 scenarios involve extrensive Yard operations and the speed limit in all Yards is 5 mph, we
have included in this package instructions on how to set up a "fast clock" that will make these
slow operations much more tolerable. However, be warned, by doubling or even tripling the speed
of the time clock, locomotive control will become more challenging, so use this "super ability" with
care! Find the instructions in the folder "Fast Clock," included in the .zip file
The included .rwp installer will install 3 scenarios:
Containers to Coatbridge Part 1
Containers to Coatbridge Part 1a
Containers to Coatbrdige Part 2
Install
=======
First obtain the necessary version of this route
This scenario will only install into the "West Coast Main Line North Add-On" route obtained from the
DLC Steam Store. The current price for this route is $39.99 US. And while steep, this may be a good
value due to all of the related scenery and rollingstock that is included with the download.
The scenarios are supplied via a single".rwp" file. Start Railworks, but stop on the opening
(splash) page. Along the top of this page are a series of tabs. Select the package manager
tab. Click the "Install" button and select the "ContCoat1_0.rwp" file and click the install button.
The 3 Scenarios will install into the West Coast Main Line North route.
Hints and Suggestions
=====================
In running freight operations during daylight commuter hours, expect delays, so watch the signals carefully.
For smooth operations, regard any amber signal as a strong suggestion to proceed at no faster than
30 mph, or 10 mph lower than the posted limit.
This scenario set will be particularly rewarding for those who like to "drive" their trains
from the cab.
