::: Hart-felt Switching Parts 1, 2, and 3 :::
Scenarios for the Virtual New Haven route
author: Tom Pallen
================================================
Requirements:
Latest version of Train Simulator and at least
version 2 of the VNHRR route installed on your
computer. No additional assets or rolling stock
needed.
================================================
Installation:
1) Unzip all files to a convenient
location (perhaps a folder on your desktop)
2) run RW_AssetSetup.exe
3) that's it
================================================
Description: Carry out switching duties in the
Hartford Yard. Part 1 begins at 08:00 on a foggy
autumn morning; part 2 starts at 09:00 that same
morning; part 3 begins later in the evening of the
same day.
================================================
NOTES: This package includes all three of my
Hart-felt Switching scenarios, packaged using
RW_Tools. It replaces all previous versions,
which should be uninstalled before installing
this package (apologies for the bother). This
package does not contain an RWP installation file
because the TS2015 Packager Utility is incapable
of creating the package correctly.
=================================================
Tips:
Brakes .....
If you're not familiar with the Alco RS-3 engine,
read "Operating the Train Brakes" in the VNHRR
Springfield Line Manual and practice driving before
attempting this scenario. I prefer using the engine
brake exclusively and occasionally resorting to
setting the brakes on one or more cars as well.
Save/Restart .....
This scenario features AI traffic carefully tuned in the
editing and testing process. Restarting the scenario
after a save has sometimes led to AI crashes that have
not occurred when the scenario was run without such an
interruption.
=====================================================
Boilerplate:
Properly installed and run, this scenario should not
harm your TS installation or any other aspect of your
computer in any way. If it does so, the fault is not
mine and I take no responsibility for it.
