History:
The St. Louis - San Francisco Railroad, or Frisco as it is more commonly refered to, was one of many railroads to operate the EMD E8 locomotive. Numbered from 2006 to 2022 the Frisco's E8 locomotives were used to replaced the Frisco's own 4-8-4 Northerns some of which were less than 5 years old. Between the 1950s and 1970s one could see an E Unit pulling one of the Frisco Mainline passenger trains like the Texas Special day to day basis. Today none of the Frisco E Units have survived however other members of the E8 Class have been saved thanks in part to Railroads like the Burlington Northern which operated many of the Chicago Burlington and Qunicy's former E8s for Commuter Service up untill the late 1990s as well as Railroads like the Union Pacific who still operate E Units as part of their Hertaige Program.

What is included:
There are a total of 34 E8s in this pack. All 17 Frisco E8s are included with both Driver and Non-Driver Versions. Much like some of the ither E8 Packs that have been released as of late there is no Auto-Renumbering with this set as the Amtrak E8 Pack released by DoveTail Games doesn't support a four digit running number. This means that there are a total of 34 locomotives that will be added to the engine list when you are building a scenario and it is highly recomened paying close attention when placing each locomotive.

Installation:
1. Open the Railworks Utilities Program and go to the Package Manager Tab. Once there click the refresh button.
2. Once the list has refreshed click the install button and look for "SLSF_E8_Set.rwp" and select it.
3. Once that is complete proceed to go to the newly added "SLSF_EME_E8s" folder. This folder is seperate from the "EMD-E8-Amtrak" folder and is located "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\DTG\AmtrakE8Pack01\RailVehicles\Diesel"
4. Next open up the folder and the "E8-A Amtrak Phase I.GeoPcDx" file to all of the Engine folders. (Yes I know there is a lot).

And that's it you are ready to roll.
