David Brindley's GP15' as fictitious Adriana County engines

Description: Adriana County's GP15s by tagsdm

Included are three seperate repaints of David Brindley's excellent GP15 into a freelanced Adriana County color scheme. The idea is to give a sense of identity to the also freelanced (and also excellent) Adriana County route by LtBligh available at the Steam Workshop. The slightly different schemes could represent a locomotive's paint over a period of 3, maybe 5 years. It wasn't uncommon for railroad color schemes to overlap. Regardless, the GP15 seems to fit the shortline route very well.

These are three individual, single number models. Autonumbering is not used. Locomotive numbers are painted on the cab sides. This is because the original MP number board is in a position that would look awkward for my Canadian National inspired color scheme. It is exact for MP,though.

You will need the original GP15 model by David Brindley installed in order for these repaints to work. It is free and can be found at this site as "Missouri Pacific (MP) EMD GP15 - New Model".

To install these repaints, extract the GP-15-ACDX.rwp to a convenient location for you (like your desktop) and install using the Package Manager utility located in your Railworks main folder. You should find a "GP-15-ACDX" folder, a "GP-15-ACDX2" folder and a "GP-15-ACDX3" folder in ...Assets\DRB_SimStuff\NA\Diesel\ after installing.

Because the model is freeware, and we've been given permission to upload for (free) repaints, no file copying is necessary. Please read the origREADME for more information.

To use in a scenario, be sure DRB_SimStuff then NA are checked in the Editor. In the left locomotive flyout you should find nine new entries...

exp is the expert driving controls, simp is the simplified controls, and trail is the driverless trailing unit. Drop one on the rails, place a driver (except the trail units) and you're good to go. Use the trail units in the middle or end of a lashup, or as a scenery item. Please read the origREADME for details on the controls of each engine. The exp version can be quite a challenge.
