Retired Army GE 44 Ton Locomotive - Requires payware from RSC

The model is created by DTM, and copyright by DTG, DBA as TS2014.

These are freeware repaints, copyright by Micheal Calvin 2014, and may be shared freely as a stand alone item or as part of a scenario as you wish, but may not be sold as payware or sold in a payware package. My only request, if you do pass these on, is that you include this original readme file

All of the railroad lettering styles, logos, shields, and phrases used in this repaint are used under fair use.

I make no representation of fitness of purpose or suitability, and am not responsible if these files damage your computer, cause it to cease function, or if they actually work like they're supposed to.

Installation:

The repaint requires and will not work without, the purchase and installation of the Pennsylvania GE 44 Ton locomotive from the Steam store.

Unpack and install the above packages following the instructions include in their readme.

Each skin/repaint model installs as a separate folder in the Railworks main directory under:

\Assets\DTM\GE 44 Ton\RailVehicles\Ex-Army\

Download the .rar file to your computer. Once completed, find your downloaded file, and unzip it into a newly created folder with the name of the downloaded locomotive.

  1.Open TS 2014 Utilities and select the Package Manager tab.
  2.Click on install, then navigate to the folder where you unrared these files.
  3.Select the .rwp file and click on open.
  4.The package Manager will then install your new locomotive.
  5.Verify that the file shows in the installed list on the left of the screen.
  6.Open your file browser and navigate to 'Railworks\Assets\DTM\GE 44 Ton\RailVehicles\Pennsylvania\Engine\' and copy the 'GE 44Ton_Penn.GeoPcDx'      file to your desktop.
  7.Open your file browser and navigate to 'Railworks\Assets\DTM\GE 44 Ton\RailVehicles\Ex-Army\Engine\' and copy the 'GE 44Ton_Penn.GeoPcDx'              file from your desktop into this folder. 
  8.Delete the 'GE 44Ton_Penn.GeoPcDx' file from your desktop.
  9.Start TS2014.
12.Select Editor.
13.Select the route where you wish to add the locomotive. 
14.Select Scenario Editor.
15.Select a scenario at the top of the screen.
16.Select Edit scenario.
17.Once the scenario editor opens:
   a.Click the left center flyout then click on the locomotive icon.   
   b.Click on the object filter (a small blue square with an orange triangle).
   c.A flyout on the right of the screen will open.
   d.Pull out the flyout and use the pulldown menu.
   e.Find and click on 'DTM'.
   f.Click on the the GE 44 Ton box making sure that it is checked.
   g.The locomotives will then appear in the list in the left center pullout as Ge 44 Ton Ex-Army.
