This is BNSF ES44DC Physics Modification pack for the Stevens Pass route.

In order to utilize this freeware physics upgrade, you must have purchased the "Stevens Pass Route Add-On" available at Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/222617/

This is a freeware pack; in no way is it to be used for commercial purposes. You are free, however to further modify the physics enhancements found in this pack for personal use if you so choose.

THIS IS NOT A SOUND UPGRADE PACK. Physics adjustments made around the existing sounds.

The purpose of this pack is to adjust the locomotive weight, motor amperage limits, and traction and braking effort values for more realistic operation.

General Parameter Change Log:
1. Changed HUD ammeter function so that it displays tractive effort in thousands of pounds. This means that if the HUD ammeter reads "127 Amps", the locomotive is putting out 127,000 lbs of tractive effort.
3. Changed HUD ammeter function so that it displays braking effort in the following manner: If the HUD ammeter reads "-345.2 Amps", the locomotive is putting out 34,520 lbs of dynamic braking effort.
4. Adjusted tractive effort rating and curve for locomotive based on the specifications listed below.
5. Adjusted dynamic brake effort rating and curve for locomotive based on the specifications listed below.

Specific horsepower and tractive effort ratings used in calculation for individual locomotive variants:
1. GE ES44DC (GE GEVO-12; 4400 THP)
 a. Starting tractive effort of 142,000 lbs (631.64 kN).
 b. Continuous tractive effort of 105,680 lbs (470.08 kN) @ 12.9 mph.
 c. Traction horsepower at wheel is 3,800 hp (2835.821 kW).
 d. Max Dynamic Brake effort of 74,675 lbs (332.171 kN) @ 26.2 mph to 9 mph; extended range sawtooth function between those speeds; linear fade from max brake effort @ 9 mph to 0 lbs @ 3.5 mph.
 e. Dynamic Brake horsepower at wheel is 5,212.6 hp (3,890 kW).
 f. Increased weight of 190.509 metric tons (420,000 lbs).
 g. Maximum speed of 75 mph.
 h. Fuel consumption @ notch 8 is 210 gallons per hour.

IMPORTANT; Install Instructions

1. Locate the following directory: (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\GNTX\StevensPass)
2. Open Railworks_BNSF_Stevens_Pass_GE_ES44DC_Physics_Mod_Pack.rar
2a. Before proceeding to step 3, make sure your "GNTX" folder is NOT set to "read only". You can change the folder settings using the properties function. IF the "GNTX" folder is read only, the files will not overwrite existing files when you attempt step 3.
3. Drag the file folder from the .rar in step 2 into the directory you opened in step 1. Overwrite if asked.
4. The installation should be complete. Run TS2015 to check.
