A question about direction:

If I were to paint up a bunch of patched out renta wreck GP38-2s, would you use them? I like the looks of the old crusty (but reliable!) patchouts. Let me know... I already am in the process of redoing my EMDX leasers, and think it would be fun to do a few more. The Gp38s were very popular, and a lot of them are still running today. The renta wrecks are a fun way to use some older repaints.

What I'm talking about:

Half done... soon to be available to fill your temporary extra power needs.

BTW, the JCornell GP38-2 transfers to TS2012 very well, I have the full light package put together to add to them.

Edit: I got a bit of the !@#$%$%@$^& D&RGW RS3 repaint in the background, so consider it a small preview.
The SP 4848 in front of the LTEX is almost finished as well.

No, that would actually restore my sanity. I like being crazy. BTW, the LTEX repaint is done, the D&RGW has the text work to go.

YES! patched up leasers!

And speaking of ____-__-wrecks, the WSOR has some "Mexi-wrecks" GP38s that they traded some ol' SD20 Skunks for (at least I think that was the trade agreement, all I know is the SD20's disappeared and some terribly out of shape GP38-2s showed up), I have some decent pictures if you wanna try em. They'd be quite the graphics challenge but you'd be the man for the job.

Here they are! Though they look awful, they are actually very clean, as the WSOR meticulously takes care of their motive power.

The paint has gone to $%@#, but other than that they keep em clean, they should be going to WSOR's paint shops (you can see some of their work here http://www.wsorrailroad.com/customers/paint1.html) and will soon look like this:

I see an LTEX GP15 in there! FIles are uploaded, LTEX GP38-2, the SP GP38-2 and a patch file to add 2012 lights to the original BNSF-1 model. I've also included a plain text of the .bin addin if you want to update other of JCornell's Low hood GP38s. I need to do one for the High Hood version as well.
