Make sure graduated release is also set to eTrue.
Make sure any minimum reduction pressure in the loco simulation file is set to 3 psi. Note: 6 psi is the prototype minimum reduction pressure, but 3 works best on the American locos.
Make sure all triple valve ratios are some where between 2.4 and 2.5.
Maximum system pressure should be 90.
Maximum reservoir pressure should be the same as system pressure 90.
Maximum cylinder pressure shouldn't be higher than 65 although I usually use 60 for freight and 50 for passenger stock.
Pressure for maximum force should be the same as maximum cylinder pressure.
Set the hand brake blueprint to the same specs as the train brake blueprint.
Hope this helps.

Passenger Stock is 110PSI EQ and BP pressure.

I suppose you mean independent brake, not hand brake?

Thanks for all the tips.

I'll try this out and post a video of the results when I get the chance.

No I mean handbrake. I've run into some strangeness when I didn't set it to the same specs as the train brake blueprint. I doesn't hurt the performance of the hand brake.

Yes, but.... there is the core engine and how it works, and how you want the train in the sim to behave. It's two different things I'm afraid.
Others have figured out a person has to test drive and fudge the numbers a bit.
Entering literal numbers doesn't always cut it in the bins and simulation files.

Does this patch affect Empire builder cars?

After installing it, locomotive is OK. But scenarios where these cars used either fail with "track.bin" message, or have strange artefacts in the ground (flashing polygons all over the ground surface).

The problem appears, only when cars from P42Dc package used. If I use locomotive with Amfleet or cars from F40PH add-on, it is OK.

I don't see why it should, since I did not even touch the passenger cars, or include any of the files from the passenger cars in the download. However, if this does indeed turn out to be a common issue, then perhaps a fix is in order.

Ok, I'll recheck it. Maybe some .bin's from cars are corrupted and this is a coincedence.
