Google Maps Overlay

Is there a solution to fixing the Google maps overlay? I've searched and searched, but nothing is really working.

I've was able to load one low resolution tile once, but other than that, all I get is the infamous blue circles.

It's been really frustrating as I'm trying to work on my NEC route through having google maps open on the side, but I want to make the route as accurate as possible.

You need to add an API Key in the game settings.
Before you can start using the Google Maps Platform APIs and SDKs, you must sign up and create a billing account.
An API Key requires a credit card.
Loading static maps will not cross monthly limit so you will not pay anything from your card.

Ok thanks a lot. I knew about Google's changes, but I didn't know you now require a billing account for it to work.
