Steam Era Rolling Stock

For all fans of the steam era, especially the turn of the last century, we now have several new, scratch-built and highly detailed rolling stock packs to offer. These packs include a wide variety of cars, all having been designed with a high level of authenticity and playability in mind. You can choose from several different types of boxcars, tank cars, hoppers, flatcars, gondolas, and more! Many of the cars come with interactive (un-)loading features.
Currently, there are two freight packs available: pack one, the NP 19th century freight pack comes with six models in various configurations: you have an outside-braced and a double sheathed 30' boxcar, a stockcar, 30' flatcars with various loads, 30' tank cars (built from converted flatcars) and a 24' caboose. Pack two, the NP Early 20th century freight pack, picks up where the previously released NP 19th century pack left off and brings you several larger and slightly younger models to run in your RailWorks or RailWorks2. You can choose from: a 40' double sheathed boxcar and a 36' double sheathed boxcar, 33' tank cars in single-dome and quad-dome versions, 41' flatcars with several selectable loads, 31' rib-side 50t hoppers, 34' offset-side 55t hoppers, and a 24' caboose wearing the classic NP red caboose paint scheme.
Also available are several freeware rolling stock packs, for the turn of the last century railroad simulation these are currently a wooden-side gondola pack, a 36' boxcar pack and a skeleton log car pack.
